Dave was appointed Chairman of the Foundation in 2023.

Dave is a survivor of the 2002 Bali bombings and was treated by the staff at Royal Perth hospital under the leadership of Fiona Wood. Dave is passionate about furthering research to ensure a better quality of life for burns patients.
